Eventfinder Sells Out Whitianga Scallop Festival

Eventfinder’s Ticketing Services sold out the legendary Whitianga Scallop Festival 24 hours prior to the festival opening this year.

The Scallop Festival, an iconic Kiwi event, was held on 17 September at the Whitianga Marina Reserve, inside a purpose-built village of marquees overlooking the picturesque Whitianga Harbour.

Eventfinder’s marketing and sales team worked closely with the Tourism Coromandel staff for six months prior to the festival to maximise every opportunity to reach as many ticket buyers as possible.

Scanning Tickets Without an Internet Connection

Whether it’s a festival in a paddock or gig at a pub, sometimes the Internet just isn’t there. Eventfinder Pro now lets you scan tickets without an Internet connection.

When you log into Eventfinder Pro, any upcoming events for which online tickets are no longer available are displayed on the dashboard as ready to scan.
